CAP: Up to 2cm in diameter. The smooth cap starts off convex before becoming flattened and eventually slightly centrally depressed. It has a slightly striate margin, is minutely felty and coloured ochre-buff. STIPE: Up to 3cm long and 2mm in diameter the stipe is whitish to pale ochre in color and tapers towards the base. GILLS/PORES: The gills are adnexed or adnate and are initially pale lemon before developing an ochraceous tone. FLESH: Whitish and with no significant taste or smell. SPORES: Ellipsoidal with a minutely roughened surface. Each spores measures between 4.5-7.5 x 2.5-5µm. HABITAT: On the fallen fruit of Hawthorns. SEASON: Frequent. Late summer to autumn. EDIBILITY: Inedible.
